Flex Your Money Muscle, Part 3: How to Take Advantage of Your Remaining Dental Benefits

Take Advantage of Remaining Dental BenefitsIs your smile ready for all the photos you may be in with family and friends during the holidays? Hilldale Dental wants to help you celebrate a new year with a healthy mouth– and a healthy bottom line!

There’s still time to take advantage of the important dental benefits you’ve earned to support your oral health this year. Both can increase your smile while cutting your costs.
But as we’ve shared in our series of blog posts this month, if you and your family do have dental benefits to use before the end of the year– whether it’s insurance, healthcare or your flex spending account (FSA) — you’ll need to do it now. It could save you hundreds of dollars.

Here’s more about your benefits:

  • Yearly Maximum
  • Plans have a max for dental care on an annual basis. Maximums are typically reset at the end of the year, and unused benefits will be forfeited.
  • Deductible
  • Money paid out of pocket before benefits take effect. The fee varies by plan, but when starting the year over, the deductible has to be paid again before benefits kick in.
  • Premium Amount paid for dental benefits, typically via each paycheck.

Call Hilldale Dental today to schedule your appointment, and be sure you’ve taken advantage of your benefits this year. And we look forward to seeing you in 2015!
